C2's campaign has the best graphics I've seen on Wii, but it was easy and boring compared to TCon's. TCon's superior music, atmosphere, and story are just icing on the cake. My one problem with it is the invisible mines. Who thought those would be a good idea?

Voted C2, but I like them both equally. TCon had the better main storyline, but C2's backstory was easier to get into (I it find it hard to listen to the same radio for an hour in TCon). TCon had better gun fights, but C2 had better level design with more interactivity.

TCon. It had the better story, and in a campaign, the story is the most important aspect aside from the gameplay. It had some awesome moments and clever ways of implementing backstories and subtle humor while still maintaining the main story in tact with little to no plot holes. It had a lot potential to be Nintendo's go-to FPS, but C2's attempt at a lulzy campaign ended that. The ending of C2 would have been 10,000 times more awesome if it stuck to the formula of the first game IMO.

However, Brennan is right about the level design in C2, minus the use of multiplayer maps in the campaign itself. Boss fights were awesome up to Emperor Li (Adams was a total joke; talk about anti-climactic).

the Conduit series never really had the slightest chance of being Nintendo's go to FPS.

I actually found the multiplayer maps enjoyable in campaign. They had some of the more interesting items to scan. IIRC, an item in Serenity suggests that the fountain there is the Fountain of Youth.

To be honest, upgrading to Conduit 2 from The Conduit really bemused me. The graphics had a drastic change, several enemies were changed/ removed, and the multiplayer maps...or all the maps for that matter, were globally just incomparable. So at first, I preferred The Conduit's story and context until I was ingratiated into Conduit 2.
