Conduit 2 may have its share of problems, but at least is isn't Marathon/Streets/Explosives nonstop 24/7.

Well, if you play 6 or 7 games you might manage to play one that isn't.

I like both multiplayer. Altough, I do agree that Explsove/ Streets/ Marathon constantly was annoying. Especially, if they were filled with glitchers.

I always chose the less glitchable maps/ weapon sets. When it happens, you immediatly notice that a lot of the glitchers are bad players who cannot aim at all XD

I like C2. It was a PITA to try and use the shrieker, my favorite conduit weapon. Even if you raced to the center of the map to get it, you had to not die ... for the whole match. If I remember correctly the shrieker didn't respawn in the center of the map very often.

I found C2's more creative. TCon was an old school FPS, yes, but C2 combined what was good about old school and modern shooters, and got rid of the bad stuff from both (in my opinion).

I liked TCon's multiplayer better because of the way it felt and the way it played; it felt more balanced. I liked the basic sets and the Near/Far set since it offered more variety in the weapons. I liked how I wasn't forced to use a scope if I didn't want to. I also liked how there was no unnecessary bloom when walking and jumping. TCon also had better maps than C2 did (Although, I frikin' loved Crash Site and Serenity).

Now just because I liked TCon better doesn't mean that I don't acknowledge its problems: The whole as fast as you could shoot aspect made precision weapons super overpowered, explosive weapon set... self explanatory, bunny hopping was crazy high, 'nade spamming was ridiculous, the hit detection was really off, the amount of glitches in the game was staggering, going through enemies was extremely frustrating, Wii-speak lowered framerates, etc. etc.

Conduit 2 had great ideas, but they weren't executed properly. The game needed a few more months to fine tune everything and it needed a beta released somehow (maybe on the shop channel for free) so that fans could give feedback on how the game worked (although, I know that probably was out of their budget, it would have helped so much).

They're both fun in different ways.

First I have to say that while I haven't played TCon online that much, I've never seen a single glitcher or spawned into a wall, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

TCon seems to have a bit less lag, but overall the movement is actually so slow that you could be lagging all the time and never even see it!

While TCon has crazy high bunnyhopping, C2 has PR Tuning.
TCon has Nade Spamming, C2 has RD.

You say tomato and I say tomato.

Overall I prefer C2 because of the ability to develop my own playstyle based on the weapons that I want to play with and the faster movement.

I understand that this might create balance issues, but generally I don't think these are as big a problem as the general connection issues that we seem to see.

I do like the way the USP sounds in TCon though.

C2 gameplay wise

Tcon performance (lag free) wise.

Edit: ADS in Tcon would have helped.
