That would be because the MP5 is locked at full-auto and as such does not fire semi-automatically like the Dark Star does.

XG4 is just tagging noobs and finishing them off with the usp because he is good with it. He is hard to shoot because he seems to move around so much and even when you get him with enough bullets they all don't register ... methinks.

Well, it can fire pretty fast. And I think it fires faster if you press the trigger in a sort of rhythm, but I'm not sure.
