Whenever I play HC, I always try to hear where the fight is. But it never works!
I almost sounds like you could. You turn left, and it gets quieter, turn right it gets noisier. Ok Ok, I think i got it. But then you realize that you absolutely have no idea. And that trying to do that is probably the fastest way to get yourself disoriented. In fact, I bet if you closed your eyes, you might even get motion sickness.
Its one of those things you constantly find yourself doing, even though you know it doesn't work. Just because you want it to work so badly.
Yeah, i always noticed it was a bit goofy. We should test how far away you can hear gunshots. Because it seems really short when someone is firing at you from one side of streets, and really close when you hear people down stairs on Sanctum.
I'm Derpitimus. I forgot my password, and got locked out of my account.
I've got surround, and most of the time it sounds like the Right and Left are swapped. Maybe I just need to set it to stereo.
Maybe I'll become as deadly as you.
Do you live with people? How can they stand the noises. Headphones are the only way to go. I can hear when someone is coming around the corner or when someone is a floor above.
Doesn't it seem weird and creepy to not actually be able to hear the real environment around you?
I never really even liked earbuds for music. Then I developed an inner ear problem so I can't really use them anymore anyway, but it always creeped me out a little to be so cut-off from my real-world surroundings.
