I heard there was a patch to explosive focus that made it so it wouldn't protect you from your own damage. It was done to fix the Smaw. While that was a dumb way to solve the problem, is it still in effect?

Yeah, it should be. I don't see a reason why that is dumb. It also keeps dudes who bunnyhop with the Hive Cannon from being SMAW level of annoying. EF already does a boat load of things, so its really not that much a problem that it doesn't protect you from nuking yourself.

If it's yellow, leave it for the next fellow. If it's brown, flush it down.

It's a legit tactic. It's an anti-smaw weapon, and if it weren't for the weapons ability to bunny hopping and have high accuracy, it would be basicly like it was in C1: garbade.

Besides, it balances with other no-skill guns.

So is everything else.

How about making it balanced instead of the noobiest weapon in the game?

It requires no skill. You don't even have to worry about missing. The blast radius is extremely large and the rate of fire is absolutely insane. You have a clip of 100. 100 m****f***er. All you need to do is aim at the ground in their general direction and you'll get a kill. Don't worry about reloading either. You can get another 100 paramite-larvae in 1.5 seconds WITHOUT quickness. Don't get me started on bunny-hopping and Hardcore.

Yes it does.

It might not always, its not supposed to.
But in the tests I did, it definitely was.
