C2 Competitive: It's time for serious change.

As a competitive C2 player (sort of), I feel like the current system we use for scheduling/arranging competitive matches is, at best, impractical and clunky. It's going nowhere, and nothing ever seems to happen, save for the occasional clan battle every 1-2 months.

It's h***ish to schedule as well. So many things have to be planned every single time: bans, time and date, players, # of players, GB or HC, kill limits, time limits, game modes. Along with most everyone shouting out their schedules and clamoring for everyone else to get it to work for them.

What I'm proposing: A system. Standards. Ordered schedules. Team responsibility. Most importantly, a regular season. This is an outline I drew up of how it COULD go:

I. Regular Season
A. Teams: –HC-, B05S, FLAME, Lost Cause, AER (FOR PROVISIONAL PURPOSES ONLY)
B. Schedule
1. Series’
a. Each team plays all others twice
b. 3 games per series
c. Once as host, once away
C. Gamemodes
1. Team Deathmatch
2. Annexation
3. Capture the Flag
D. Rules
1. 1st Series: GB Rules
2. 2nd Series: HC Rules
3. No game modifiers including:
a. Weapon Drops
b. Ammo Dumps
c. Change in Gravity
d. Custom Match Loadouts
4. Standard health/ speed TBD
5. 3v3 players
E. Clan Responsibilities:
1. To field a team of 3 for all regular season games
2. If not fielded, to reschedule or forfeit for a loss
3. To select starting lineups and backups, share them w/ enemy team

Hope that wasn't h*** on the eyes.
All I ask is for your input on this system and how we could make it work.

Been attempted. Failed.
Clan matches and competitive matches are set up how they are because they work. [LC] HAS played all the clans out there that care to compete, and all that's left is AER if they are together still and FLAME.

Kudos for initiative tho.

Being the board vet you are Im sure you know about B05S vs [LC] was the first clan match since -SG- vs GO* and it basically gave birth to all other clans besides L*O? Yeah you knew that.
