What's the more frustrating way to go, a Rad or a Frag?

#1_SignalPosted 9/17/2013 6:06:56 AM
I've always thought that there was nothing worse than the 4 seconds it takes to die after being stuck by a sneaky rad thrown by someone who was already dying (guilty of it myself, hehehe). I usually run around, spinning in agony or throw myself on a control point.

However, I've recently been rethinking this, because lately I never seem to even see frags when they're thrown, I just hear that clinky sound and randomly blow up, LOL.

What do you guys think?

Rad's are probably worse because you know your death is coming.
Frags arent as bad because its quick, painless, and surprising.

also rads can kill you and double tap you, and i dont believe frags can

Rads have large hit boxes and go off on impact, whereas frags require timing and placement, or luck. I'd say rads, because they're easier to use.
Double explosive frags are a bit different.

Well, not to brag, but if you are against me, a radiation is better because I am able to throw the frags in a surprisingly lucky manner in the right places.
But, I've been thinking about a way to bypass radiation grenades. If you were to equip Mending, Light Armor, and Reverse Damage altogether, I believe that you might actually be able to save yourself from the radiation grenades. Anyone want to test the theory?

Reverse damage only works on ur own rad grenades. Mending only increases the rate of recovery. Unless u have a rad with reverse damage, u can't survive.

I know. That is what I meant. If you had reverse, you need your radiation grenades. I just wanted to see your opinions.

Rad.

And doesn't Reverse give you a free Rad?

Frags because its possible to survive a rad without RD, Im not sure if Exp Focus will save you from a phantom frag.

Then there's no point in using mending and light armor
