New Custom Game Mode

A while back, I recall having a discussion on how to create and SnD type game mode in C2. Now, I think I have figured it out. Obviously, it is different, but it is the closest thing to team based single elimination there is. These would be the settings (the ones shown are the only ones that would be changed):


Gametype: Team Objective
Mode: Killing Override
Game time: 3 min.
Respawn timer: 30 sec.
Score limit: 15
Points for killing player: 5*
Health: 50% (optional)
Lockon: Either
Radar: No

*This is for 3v3 only. For 2v2, the score limit would be set to 10, and the game would work a bit differently.


Description:

This is a tense, slower placed game mode that is designed to be as close to single elimination as possible. Every kill counts, as the respawn timer is as high as it can go, and the round timer is as low as possible. Many times, first blood will decide the round. This game mode could be played for competitive, or just for fun with a group of friends.

How it works:

The first team to reach 4 rounds won wins one match. To win a round in 3v3, a team must get at least 1-2 kills and capture the enemy's flag, or get 3 kills. Because of the high respawn timer and low round timer, this will usually mean killing each member of the enemy team once to win the round. In 2v2, a team must get 2 kills or capture the enemy flag once to win. After every round, the teams switch sides: the red team becomes the blue team and the blue team becomes the red team.

Testing would still have to be done to decide what maps would work best (help would be appreciated), but I think Agartha, Serenity, Dig Site, and Abyss can be excluded for sure.

I'd love too^^. I like the idea of biggest time respowned!
However, isn't capturing the flag a lot harder than killing 3 persons?

Sadly, I don't think that can work unless you can play in NTSC. And yes, generally killing all three people would happen, but if you're down to the last guy, capturing the flag might be easier than tracking him down. Most of the time it'll probably be decided by kills.
