It seems to me that everybody in a lobby I participate in is constantly warpy and wirelessly inconsistent. It's so common, that it is very hard for me to get a kill.
I'll see if I can upload a full Conduit 2 WiFi match exemplifying what I mean. I already uploaded a short clip of the lag I'm getting (it's not just Keet). Unfortunately, I can't play the Wii via Ethernet.
Are there any practical players receiving a tantamount implication?
It really only takes one laggy player to wreck the whole lobby. Are you sure it's you? Setup some private matches with just one or two other people to see if you're the one.
What time are you usually playing?
You might benefit from cycling the power on your router. I know that Mike used to do that sometimes.
I agree with Cmo regarding the use of your bandwidth. Try to minimize the other internet traffic if at all possible, but I know sometimes that's not under your control. Have a quick look at your speed and ping time at speedtest.net. I hate to say this, but it's also possible that you've picked up some malware on your computer that is using bandwidth that you're not aware of. Or it's possible that something has happened to your internet. Sometimes even weather seems to be a factor here for some bizarre reason.
I hope you get it sorted out.
