I may need to restart my router, but it's difficult for me to do that because so many people use it, which is one of the issues.

It only takes five minutes to restart a router. Also, you were not laggy today until 007 joined. i think he joined through you. When you join my games I sometimes get 'hiccup' lag. It happened today when 007 joined.

I don't think he is my rival, but yeah, it was pretty laggy around that time.

I know it only takes minutes, but the problem is how many people use the router and it's purpose. It's actually used for work.

I understand about not being able to mess with the router. And I didn't mean to do a full reset... I would just cycle the power.

Also, if you don't use your Wii for any credit card purchases, you should consider setting it up as DMZ in the router's security settings. It's been a while since I did this with the Wii, but I can help you figure out how to do this if you want.

We should do a private match and see if we lag with each other.

Isn't cycling the same thing as booting the router on and off? What is cycling?

Just unplug the power cord from the back of the router, count to 20, then plug it back in.

Don't unplug it at the wall, just at the back of the router.

My father cycled it, already. I'll try the connection out soon. Thanks.

Good luck. I hope that helps.

I might be on later. Post when you think you'll be on.
