Thirteen things HVS got right with Conduit 2

Continuing the "Thirteen" threads (until I get thirteen of them) this one seems like the next logical topic.

1. Character movement. I think that they totally nailed this one. The movement is very fluid and natural, and I never feel restricted or constrained. I can walk, sprint, or crouch in 45 degree increments to the direction I'm looking, all while looking anywhere I want. Sure, sometimes I run into the wall when I'm trying to get through the door, but I don't think I can blame that on HVS. They made the doors plenty big enough.

5. No collision detection with your teammates. Being able to run through teammates is something that I wish COD had. I know it's a more realistic shooter, but there's not much more frustrating then getting killed because a teammate runs turns left to run through a large gap as you are standing or moving on the right. He had plenty of room to continue on his path, but decided to run into me instead and getting us both killed.

I would just like to clarify, that this topic isn't really about what we would like to see in C3, because that will probably never happen, but rather what we found in C2 that makes us want to give the guys at HVS a pat on the back for, and perhaps those qualities that we seek in other FPS.

I will throw out another one.

7. High health.

I like that the match isn't just a game of who sees who first, and allows a little bit of precision aiming and movement tactics to come into play. As an older player with thick glasses and shaky hands, my reflexes just aren't as fast as the younger people playing the game, so I am rarely in the position of shooting first.

i completely agree with this. I just played CoD for the first time the other day and it was a little frustrating. You die so quick.

I'm going to ignore the jokes and consider my post to be #5. I suggest the rest of you also ignore joke posts so that we get 13 legitimate posts about what C2 got right.

5. A creative arsenal

I've played my fair share of FPS games, and seen a lot of videos of them, but C2 by far has the most unique weapons of all of them. Shooting through walls, catching bullets, invisibility, the Carbonizer's chain lightning. There's all sorts of cool and crazy functions. And to top it off, they all have pretty sweet-looking designs.

Anyone who disagrees with this: name 3 FPS games with an arsenal as unique as C2's.
