Did you try and redo your Wifi in the Wii menu......I mean start over with a new connection.

It is possible to have your addresses changed due to a power outage as some routers will automatically change the "range".

Double check your router settings and try and reset a new connection.....

I hope you get it to work....just don't throw in the towel yet.

Just get a Wii U and connect from that. When I got mine and did the transfer, I put the Wii back in its box and never looked back.
