There are a lot of details in the maps that are put there purely for aesthetic value, and unlike ďrealisticĒ games like CoD, because most of the map settings are not versions of the real world, the C2 creative team had to work pretty hard to fill these maps with details.
The Skylight in Sanctum Prime is one of those details. They could have made the ceiling look like anything, but instead chose to give it a star field.
I havenít had the chance to look at it closely enough to see if any familiar constellations are visible. I sort of doubt it. But who knows?
It just occurred to me that Sanctum Prime could actually be on a spaceship couldnít it?
CyrnalKynathel would have had a good guess. I donít think I ever played with him, but he had always had lots of thoughts and ideas about details of the game. Assuming that Sanctum Prime is not a spaceship, itís one of the few maps that are at night, though that doesnít really come into play on this map since itís all inside.
What do you think about The Skylight in Sanctum Prime? Does it add to the map? Do you think Sanctum Prime is actually inside a spaceship?

Assuming it's based on Adams' "inner sanctum" from TCon, then it's definitely not on a spaceship. Would be cool to have a map like that though. --- C2 FC: 3011-0210-9706 | PSN: B05S_P4GG | NNID: NintyConsolGAMR | EMERGENCE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAH2kIFwdjI

Cyn was a great punster. --- Reject common sense and make the impossible, possible. THAT is how Team Dai-Gurren rolls!
Haha yes, he was the best, and he wasn't afraid of a bad pun either.

I've had so much fun with this guy. Quite a humorous fellow. Who knows what happened to him, but he is the type of person that one can never forget. A great friend, and an ideal companion. I can still remember the skirmish of our HVS45s. --- SOTD: "There is no meat that Keet can't beat." -Mike
