Question about Pokemon black/silver

#1Deniii3000Posted 5/17/2014 9:29:04 AM
I've never played a Pokemon game in my life mainly because I was told the story mode sucks (and being a graphic adventure gamer myself, the narrative is a big deal to me)
Now, many people told me this Pokemon (black/white) has a good story line so I'd like to try it.

The purpose of this post is to ask a question: does this game have a tutorial or it assumes you know how to play Pokemon already?
Because, the only thing I know about the game is that you catch monsters with Pokeballs.

The most Toturial you'll recieve is in the form of showing how to Capture a Pokémon.

Other than that, you really don't need to know anything else other than just play the Game and use logic to see where you should go next (albeit this game is somewhat linear in comparison to the others).

Although it never hurts to learn the 18 Types and their interactions (discluding ??? because it has no interactions), and the Pokémon themselves.

You don'y need one but every game made shows you how to catch a stupid pokemon.
