Could I run this on a stock Alienware m17x?

Nah, just kidding. You could run this on a toaster if you wanted.
And BTW, I know this is a joke topic.

I wasn't joking lol. I just want to make sure I can run it. And what's the resolution of this game?

I've been able to run Alpha on a Pentium III 900MHz with 512mb ram (with fog set to tiny, and graphics set fast), Classic on 600MHz and 320mb ram (with speed bearable at normal fog). This game really does not take much to run.
Check out my skin!

It really is that easy? I was planning on buying a non-gaming laptop, but this game is looking interesting.

You could run tf2 on high graphics with a stock alienware computer.
And you don't need a gaming computer to play this.
