MegamanRockX2Posted 1/11/2011 5:58:25 PM | Light + Medium + Heavy while blocking |
AfroPrimePosted 1/11/2011 5:58:47 PM | If it's anything like some older Capcom fighters, press all three attack buttons while guarding. --- LP LP -> LK HP |

SenkoyPosted 1/11/2011 6:00:43 PM | So what's the drawback or what skill is required? Do you need to press them at the same exact time, or if you're getting chipped by a special can you just press those buttons after blocking and it'll negate the chip damage? --- [This message was deleted at the request of a moderator for no reason] |
paustinjPosted 1/11/2011 6:01:04 PM | And what exactly does that do? Reduce chip damage? --- Gamertag: Paustinj Co-Host and Review Editor at GamertagRadio.com |
NukaxColax4U (Topic Creator) Posted 1/11/2011 6:01:20 PM | Another question. does it work in ssf4? |
bigboss32Posted 1/11/2011 6:03:44 PM | It works like TvC, were it's essentially push blocking It also act's as a extra shield in a sense, where in a sceneria were your getting chipped say by Storm's hail storm you rapidly advance guard to negate as much chip as possible. Making the chip you take minimal.
You'll notice a good diffrence in chip when you advance guard as opposed to just guarding. |
bigboss32Posted 1/11/2011 6:04:54 PM | SSF4 does not have advance guard. TvC and MvC3 are the only games I know of that uses this feature. |
MegamanRockX2Posted 1/11/2011 6:05:22 PM | "Reduce chip damage?"
It pushes the opponent back so he cant combo you anymore |
