They should have just brought back everyone as a squadmate
Whoever died, simply won't appear in the game. That's it. No need for new squadmates
Snitsky's Condoms. If she get's pregnant, it's not your fault.
Currently anticipating: Mass Effect 3, Uncharted 3, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Catherine, Street Fighter X Tekken, Dragon Age III, and Arkham City.
I hafta disagree with you on this, at this point a lot of the characters have their own agenda they need to take care of. I mean their races are getting attacked and stuff so i can see why only a few will join us permanently
How many grenades could a grenadier chuck if the grenadier still had his arms?
I still like the theory, that every one of them will be recruitable, but there simply won't be space in squad for all of them, so you'll have to chose)
How many times have you made this topic?
MarioKart 64 Main: Bowser
I agree with TC, maybe have the chance to optionally recruit a few new characters to fill out your squad if you lost people at the end of 2, but for the most part have characters return. One of my major complaints with both 2 and now looking like three has been that they have neglected the importance of decisions in order to cater to people who didn't play the first game. The way they've talked in development of all three games has made it seem like even smaller choices would have much bigger impacts on subsequent games than they did, but it seems that BW has chosen the less riskier path of only having minor consequences for such decisions over the riskier path of potentially alienating new customers (though the old games sell for like twenty bucks by the time the next one rolls around), but also truly taking an experimental and perhaps revolutionary step in the way that games are developed.
They should give you the option to recruit whoever you want on your squad, I don't want to be stuck with Ashley/Kaiden, Liara, Garrus, and Vega. RPGs are about choices right? So why not give me the choice to have ME2 characters instead of ME1 characters, or better yet, a mix of both.
I think there should be a maximum of six squadmates on the ship and if you want to add someone to the ship you must leave the person being replaced to die.
I agree completely because bringing back the lame VS & not Wrex is a crime against humanity. As it is, the missions featuring Wrex are bound to be the ones I enjoy the most regardless of how good the rest of the game might be.
If I am ever forced to use either of the lame permanent human characters, especially the completely unwanted new guy, I will try to get them killed immediately. The less we see of ME2's cast, the more I will be angry with Bioware for completely missing the point of building a team in ME2.
You are missing the point. The team in ME2 was hired and gathered for a specific purpose. Some came willingly, some were paid and all had thier own agendas. I really liked the characters in ME1 and ME2 but if the story in ME3 is presented well without those characters playing a central role, so be it.
Why do you want them back so badly? What if you had the same mentality after ME1? Would you hate Thane, Mordin, Zaeed, etc? Give it a rest people and finish the game before shouting at Bioware from your basement.
