Can I Play Mass Effect 3 Via Wired X360 Controller on PC?

Since I plan to play this game for this version (X360) and Playstation 3. I plan to play for PC, but I need to know if it is possible to use wired X360 Controller for PC. That is all...

Yes, It's possible. As long as it's not a the charge wire for the wireless controllers, a wired 360 controller works with any PC in my experience.

Make sure it's a wired controller and not a wireless.

Also, I would try and learn the keyboard and mouse as opposed to the controller. The keyboard can give you easy access to powers and what not of both you and your teammates. It's more fluid than the controller.

That actually might be up in there air. I do remember on lauch ME2 didn't have x360 controller support.

Mass Effect 3 does not support native Xbox 360 controller support for the PC as the UI is completely different. You may emulate it manually but it won't work as well as it is designed for using a mouse and keyboard.

It still doesn't support it as far as I know.

It doesn't but there's a way to get it to work, i think it was an ini edit. Works with ME1 too, I believe.

I use my wired 360 controller with the PC version I got from DA2, and the only thing wrong with it is there is no cursor on the powers wheel/main menu, and you have to move around until what you want is highlighted.

It controls better with M/K anyways. I'm not even good at PC FPSs and it was still easy.

if you are going to use a 360 controller anyway why not just play the 360 version?

i know a keyboard and mouse are not the greatest gaming input devices but they have thier merits (as long as your mouse isn't crap, like mine)
