you can always play COD or Gears of War games or stuff like that if you want more combat and such... this is supposly to be an Action RPG game not shooter and combat.
PrinceOfFallout posted... the-obiwan posted... you guys did read that the intro from the demo is exactly the same for the full game right ? its not and i know for a fact it isn't (talking about dialogue options) Chris Priestly posted this: http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/323/index/9243095/14 (It's in the third post on that page) It seems probable that Casey Hudson is talking about only Sur'kesh part, whereas Priestly is talking about only the Earth part.

how to be sure of that though?... idk if its just me or you have noticed this too but Bioware crew are trolling / avoiding alot of questions or things about certain situations that has been noticed lately about ME 3 specificly.

The avoidance is what gets me. When they do comment on stuff like this to relieve worries, it's very vague. Like Walters' comments about how it's rare to see less than three dialogue options at a time in addressing the lack of them. Only, this doesn't exactly address when dialogue options aren't available. Or Priestly's comments about the trial being in the beginning of the game (durrr). Or this comment about how dialogue will be expanded upon from the demo when we already know part of Sur'kesh was cut out. Why is it they won't say outright, "Shepard does not speak without input in the full game as s/he does in the demo"? Why haven't they showed any previews where there are many options available? Even the cut Sur'kesh part, which some here keep saying is chalk full of dialogue, really wasn't. More than we've seen, certainly, but also less than we're used to. Hell, it was after watching that Sur'kesh bit that I first started speaking up about the lack of dialogue options.

and this has been happening since ME2 not to this extend but on ME3 dam they like ninjas throwing daggers with slow paced venom...
Lots of times Shepard speaks without a dialogue option, conversations would be a mess if you had to pick every single line. On top of that, all they would do is lead you, why people are so dead set on being fed an obvious illusion is beyond me. Its like they want a dialogue option like this: Person: "Do you agree Shepard?" Shepard's options: >Yes >Yes >Yes If they are trying to get across a point in a dialogue spot, its gonna happen, no matter what you pick. The only dialogue options that actually matter are the ones where you steer the course, the others your just going through the motions. Now its not to say I think the game should be devoid of dialogue options or that I think the game will be. But I certainly don't think the game needs the above, I've said this before about this series "I've never been wowed by quantity"

And I've never been wowed by a so-called "fan" thinking he knows what's best for a series. Funny how that works. --- People who actually respect Jacob Taylor: 6 It's heavy risk, but the priiiize.
