SketczPosted 3/29/2012 2:33:12 PM | What if the true ending for ME3 is already on the disc, but locked in via the timer of your console? Imagine if Bioware made a fake ending just to mess with people's minds, but once 6 or 12 months pass from the date the game shipped, on your PS3/360, the REAL ending is suddenly attainable?!
What if the indoctrination theory is true? What if there is no DLC? What if Bioware is just creating a ruse?
This could bump sales up. In 6-12 months time, it would create fresh interest in the game.
Quick! Someone boot their system and change the date to 12 months on from today, and see if anything is different in the game. Load it up, play about, see if my theory is true.
I dunno, set the date to 2013 or 2014 or something. That should be long enough. Then load a save from near the end and see if it's possible. Maybe play through that battle corridor again, just before the red beam hits you?
(I take no responsibility for messing up your system by fiddling with the time)
My theory is based on the fact that developers have released codes, sometimes years after the fact, for games they've developed. Like remember how you could access the Star Wars pod-racer in that one Star Wars game, even though the game itself came out BEFORE the film did? The entire time no one even knew it... Maybe a whole slew of endings is already on the disc just waiting for time stamp on your console to enable them... |
capgamerPosted 3/29/2012 2:33:49 PM | People who had the PC version datamined the disk and didn't find anything.
Now, it could be released later as a free DLC... that's a possibility. --- ...I don't go down. - Jeod_Cripto Bull****. Everyone goes down sometimes. - Immortal_Azrael |

Sketcz (Topic Creator) Posted 3/29/2012 2:36:26 PM | I hadn't considered the PC release and datamining that disc...
My mistake.
Nothing to see here, move along, move along. |
