Since it's likely that the IT isn't valid, what could explain how Sheppard survives at the end? (for a specific ending) --- http://i26.tinypic.com/2s7xuts.jpg

Aside from the IT, I haven't seen or come up with a single explanation solving this, well, aside from writer incompetence.

I think the IT is extremely valid.

It isn't Shepard, it's someone else in the rubble.

It isn't really surprising that Shepard could survive the Citadel falling to Earth --- Alex Smith Turnaround Tracker: 406/681, 4918 yards, 7.2Y/A, 32TD, 7INT, 93QBR, 17-5; Playoffs: 36/68, 495 yards, 5TD, 0INT, 101QBR, 1-1

"then why only in the Destroy ending"
Assuming you're talking about the IT, and before you argue it you should probably look up the theory. --- Oh, you play FBWGG? You must be soooo good. GT: The Great Ryan

It's just an easter egg. There's really nothing more to it than what it is. They did it with the destroy ending, because it's the only ending where Shepard isn't disintegrated. --- XBL:ArsenalofGlory | PSN: Nafzger Brutish tempers curbed by ten to twenty lashes.

I'm very familiar with the IT. My comment was directed at the person who claimed it was somebody other than Shepard. --- GT: Messy Mike M92 Sniperless Infiltrator since '07
