Seriously, these are the greatest invention since...well...ever.
The range alone would make this a great power, but couple that with the DoT at rank 5, and being able to trigger fire explosions/tech bursts make this power downright amazing. And with the addition of the grenade capacity gear coupled with the extreme abundance of thermal clip packs makes running out an almost moot point.

Fantastic grenades, huge default radius. Combine with Quarian Male Inf. cloak and these things truly shine.

I scored 111,000 ish points with these suckers in a Silver match that started with four people (one left at some point). A lot of that time I was alone as my teammates kept dying. Running from grenade box to grenade box is not something I ever want to repeat though, especially against the Geth.
