The galaxy need to be rid of any trace of this abominable solution conceived by a rogue AI built by a dead race which lack the moral courage to tackle conflict themselves and unwisely build a literal god from the machine to solve their problem. Too bad, they did not test out Catalyst by asking it the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything. Catalyst would probably give some answer that would only make sense to a synthetic like 42. That would at least be a wake up call that the bloody thing is not capable of answering the question. |
