A kit is finally added on tues...of course it had to be a stupid volus. Well at least the collector SMG is even better now. --- Not changing this signature until John Morrison and Drew McIntyre wins the WWE/WHC Title: 10-09-09...which means never.
*sigh* So much for the Drell Assassin... on a brighter note, atleast they finally got the worst character out of the way.
Drell Assassin I'm expecting to be the last card released, in an attempt to draw people back after they work Halo 4 and Black Ops 2 out of their systems. On that day I also expect a radius and invasive scan nerf to Recon Mine.
Volus Mercenary... I think I'll stick to the Engineer.
Speaking of Decoy though, I've dusted off the Salarian Engineer in the last day or so. Decoy actually does get some work done on hack waves or when placed at choke points. It's also funny to put one on top of a Ravager, as it will pop all the swarmers that come out.
Still you can either double distract enemies with the Volus Sentinel, or split between a Rocket Drone and the Decoy while popping Shield Boost for allies. He might be extra hilarious with a Collector Sniper Rifle. XD --- "I'd rather betray the world than let the world betray me." -Cao Cao
Disciple Shotgun - Damage increased from [46.3-57.8] to [55.6-69.5]
HA, called it.
A level X disciple now does 69.5 dmg per pellet instead of 57.8
69.5 - 57.8 = 11.7
11.7 is about 20 percent of 57.8. (Something like 20.242-whatever.)
I wouldn't call a 20% damage buff "minor." That's almost like having a dmg barrel built in.
Now, also consider it's a shotgun, so 8 of those pellets are coming out every time you pull the trigger. So the actual damage increase, per shot, is 8*11.7 = 93.6
Per squeeze of the trigger, a disciple X now does 556 dmg, as opposed to 462. Not bad for its weight, IMO. I'm looking forward to testing it out, to see if these numbers actually make a difference.
This is also a base damage increase, meaning it'll benefit even more from damage bonuses like the barrel. I think Disciple may actually be a decent gun now. Not a Reegar or Piranha, but it's not a joke option anymore, and it's way better than Eviscerator now.
I think Volus Sentinel is just fine. Way better than the POS we got last... er, this week.
on a brighter note, atleast they finally got the worst character out of the way.
Yea the Vorcha Hunter came out last week though.
He isn't that terrible. He can pop his own tech bursts and works well with weapons like the Paladin or Carnifex. He is really bland though. --- "I'd rather betray the world than let the world betray me." -Cao Cao
And I'm happy they fixed the Submission Net for the Vorcha Hunter, I can finally try out this character. --- http://i.imgur.com/cWxRj.jpg - Artwork by masterpug53 http://bit.ly/TNqBJH | http://bit.ly/SLsFmd | http://bit.ly/UbY5nR
