I love the no prayer in school argument. The law isn't against praying in school, it's against teachers leading the class in prayer.

It's just a mess caused by a sickheaded moron in a society that grants easy access to firearms.

No, you're wrong. If all those kids had guns in the first place there wouldn't have been an incident!

Fo sho!

Yeah, if the RAMPAGING MASS MURDERING PSYCHO couldn't acquire the guns legally, he'd just say "Aw shucks" and go home. It's not like those guys are very driven.

Anyway, I remember how Breivik apparently "used Modern Warfare 2 to train his shooting skills" and "was inspired by the terrorist character Anders from Dragon Age 2, who explodes buildings for a cause he deems just". The media will use ANYTHING they can get their hands into.

edit: oh god, turns out the guns weren't even his, they belonged to his mother. So he was an illegal user, after all.

I bet this guy also liked peanut butter cups ... perhaps they are the sickly sweet snack that may have driven him over the edge. Or it could be the mental imbalance he obviously had ... I'm betting on the peanut butter cups though.

Those gun control laws you guys so vehemently push for wouldn't prevent stuff like this from happening.

I feel like I should be used to people saying things like that, but it never fails to amuse me. Sarcasm mode engaged:

I'd be pretty willing to bet that the vast majority of teenagers in the US have played (and enjoyed) a video game with killing in it.
So hurr durr naturally every single of them is going to go shoot up some place and all the blame belongs to the video game!

Why do people... betray one another? They might as well... all just die instead.

The one about Socrates being suspicious of writing cracks me up. What a hipster.
