I loved ME1 and 2, but a lack of time and the backlash kept me from buying ME3.
I was wondering if I should just buy a new copy from Amazon, a used copy from Amazon, or wait for some kind of GOTY edition with the DLC. It seems like there is alot of DLC, and that at least some of it is important.
Should I worry about the starting DLC that might be gone if I buy used? How much does it cost to get the DLC I need to have the "complete experience"?
Same boat here pal. Playing ME2 about 1 year ago, and I'm now going playing ME3 for a few days.
About the DLCs, there are some huge adds actually, it's totally worth it.
Did you played the DLCs when you finished ME2? I just spent about 60 bucks in the DLCs of ME2 and ME3.
The 3 DLC for ME3 that are story worth would be:
Ashes (600 or 800 Microsoft points, don't remember well) Retake Omega (1200 Microsoft Points) Leviathan (600 or 800 Microsoft points, don't remember well)
And of course, the EXTENDED CUT DLC, which is free, and adds a few nice scenes to the ending. (so I heard, I'm still playing, haven't finished it yet). --- Ahhh... Anime, RPG and my girlfriend. I just love them all.
Get it new, enjoy everything it has to offer. The SP is AMAZING and the multiplayer is good fun. Leviathan and From Ashes are the only DLC to bother with right now besides the freebie MP stuff. --- I never sleep cuz sleep is the cousin of death
