Thoughts/ideas on new classes for MP?

It's not like they couldn't just make another engineer sentinel. They like doing that.


That wouldn't be a true sentinel, though. The Paladin will be an Engi to me forever.

I don't care what they do as long as they don't add more Volus. I will admit I'm not that good at the Volus but I just don't enjoy playing as them. I'd rather have more Turians or Salarians or Krogan or Batarians. Hell I'd take more humans before I'd take another Volus. It is annoying as hell too having a Volus be an UR and they are hardly worth it

Theres absolutely no reason a volus should score low on a continual basis. People just have it in their heads you need 200% cooldown and use nothing but shield boost. Slap a harrier, ppr, or reegar on him and your actually a use to your team.

Stasis everything, use Biotic Orbs to debuff armor, and shield boost right before big hits.

Yep, such a detriment to my team.

I'm not going to derail this thread when theres a topic for this on the front page so I'll say this and be done. My statement was meant to say a Volus should be expected to do all the things you mentioned while still maximizing his damage output. The added 1 1/2-2 second cooldown is worth it to quite litterally, triple the damage output of the average eagle or tempest volus that will be lucky to score 35k.

I hope that its something along the lines of:

Salarian STG Officer Soldier:
- Concussive Shot
- Sledgehammer Ammo
(an actual ammo power that can be turned on...basically chemical rounds with an acid effect causing DoT)
Rank 4: Damage or DoT duration increase
Rank 5: Headshot Damage or Doubled ammo capacity
Rank 6: Effeciency against Shields/Barriers or Effeciency against ammo
- Cryo Grenades
(Grenade power, similar to Inferno Grenades except for the elemental distinction)

Salarian STG Operative Infiltrator:
- Tactical Cloak (Rank 6 is Sniper Damage or Shotgun Damage)
- Defense Drone
- Cryo Grenades

Both Kits being able to receive 30% Weapon damage through the final evolutions. Both also receiving new dodge maneuvers (rolling slalrial style). Melee for the Soldier is the Incindiary Omni-Glove.

The Infiltrator uses a Cryo-based Melee tool.
