I would definitely pick Zaeed, seeing as he was completely badass, and he was probably the most hilarious crew member with some of the most memorable lines.

I'd also return Thane as a squad mate, though only if you could cure Kepral's syndrome and somehow save him during the coup. |

For someone who doesn't save Kaidan, the squad is missing a Sentinel, so that's where Miranda fills in. She also would've added a tremendous amount to the Cerberus aspect of the plot, and as someone else mentioned, she could've been brought to Cronos Station instead of EDI.
Thane and Wrex both fill the Vanguard spot in the squad, and both are among my favorite characters in the series (along with Miranda). Since this poll is asking for only ME2 squaddies, I'd go with Thane.
