Ending question *SPOILERS*

In the end when the starkid is talking about the destroy option, he says it will destroy all synthetics and that Shepard is partially synthetic.. because of his implants right?

So does that mean the destroy options kills everyone with any kind of implants like the L2 L3 biotics implants, or any kinds of prostetics? Volus suits, Quarians with geth in their suits, where does it end?

Choose your own shenanigans! Whatever you imagine, that's what happened.

Kaidan and Tali seemed just fine in my ending.

I actually picked the commune option, but I got to thinking about the 3 choices and that came to mind. It's kinda screwy to me, how is that cloud to differentiate between sentient machines and spaceships with VI.... I dunno I guess I'll go with it just kills reapers and wait on the easter bunny. =)

Nobody knows. Bioware actually explaining their endings was deemed "too video gamey" or "not artsy enough".

Based on the quarians having no problem surviving in the Destroy ending, either it doesn't have an effect on their implants or its effect is minor at worst.

After all, Shepard themself can survive Destroy

Lightning. It flashes bright, then fades away. It can't protect. It only destroys.

What? That would definently change my slightly negative view of the ending

There is a bonus scene in the Destroy ending that hints at the possibility of Shepard surviving.

To get this scene you need:

3,100 EMS (with Extended Cut installed)
4,000 EMS (no EC, destroyed the Collector Base)
5,000 EMS (no EC, saved the Collector Base)

If you have the EC installed you just need 3,100 regardless what you did with the Collector Base.

Destroying/Saving the Collector Base only matters if you don't have the EC installed.
