I knew rep was meaningless since 2007 when I was playing WWE games. I win cleanly and most of my opponents rage enough to give me "unsporting" because I didn't put down the controller and let them win.

Pretty much this. 99% of people who use it are just the ragers and sore losers.

I'm fairly certain the rep system is broken. I refuse to believe over 60% of every person who has played with me in every multiplayer game has taken the time to submit a negative player review on my profile. That means every match in this game I play, in over 300 hours of gameplay, at least one person every match has gone and submitted a negative review about me.

Yeah, it doesn't include people who leave no feedback, despite saying it does.

I've got like 80% avoided I think.

Not worried about rep, just thought it was pretty asinine that they marked me. I usually just go on and deal with it but i just had enough after a few games in a row of worthless players.

What I usually do when this happens is stand just outside the hacking circle, but not in it, and wait. If they won't want to do the objective then we'll fail. If they do come back to the objective I'll hop back into the circle.

Seems to work every time.

This, Though I have failed a few times because of this, at least you get your credits from previous rounds.

I just do it myself then leave with the money after.

If they get dropped during the game I'll revive cancel their inadequate asses a few times.

When I started to play this game, I actually had 100% avoided on my profile and found that to be ridiculous. Co-op games seem to bring out the nerd rage and butthurt in players moreso than PvP.

I help completing the objectives even if the others don't seem to care, then after we get paid at the end I leave and treat myself to a cookie.

Yeah, i understand the feeling, i've been marked for "unsportsmanship". It kind of aggravates me to a point, i've been guilty of being aggressive, and up until recently, quitting early (rage quitting, had a similar situation, i no longer play in matchs that have 2 krogan warlords). I agree with the feeling that this new dlc has brought out some more a-hole gamers. This is the first game i've played that has given me negative hits.

I had something like that happen in my very first Xbox LIVE match ever. It was right after I got Xbox LIVE and I was playing Dragonball Z: Burst Limit. I had just finished the match so I left, because the match was over. Shortly after, I got a message from the person because apparently I left before the match was over which I know I didn't. So after that I basically came to the conclusion that almost every single person on Xbox LIVE is a sore loser, or they are 12.

I don't ever make topics complaining about randoms being bad, but this just struck me as odd, and made me curious to how other people handle it.

I'm playing with three randoms and wave 6 and we get a hack. I'm playing with 2 Krogan Warlords, and randoms playing Krogan are notorious for being dimwits looking to smash everything in sight (nothing wrong with wanting to smash stuff with a Krogan, that's what they're there for, but they're usually way to agressive to the point it's annoying) and a Shadow. The previous objective was enable 4 devices, and they weren't all that helpful, after i realized they weren't going to do them i ran and got the majority of them.

Anyways, i run to the hack circle and no one is there (players or enemies), i wait there for about 30 or so seconds and they're still of trying to smash everything. I usually don't say anything but at this point i was pretty aggravated cus the hack circle with one person takes forever. I tell them "hey you guys want to come over to the circle or what?" with slight attitude. One Krogan shows up, fidgeting because there wasn't anything for him to kill. He runs off after less than 10 seconds to go kill stuff. I waited for a little longer, frustrated on how long it was taking i said to myself "fine they can do this by themselves" and quit.

Don't know how often that happens to everyone but i rarely get it that bad, i've noticed it increase a ton the past couple of days, i can only assume the dlc brought the trash back to the game.

That's the only time i ever rage quited, i coincidently looked at my rep and saw i was marked for quitting early, and thought to myself, yeah that seems about right. What do you guys do when randoms aren't helping out on objectives?

So a few things:

1) You aren't alone, played a few games recently and had similar problems. Had a kill enemies objective, and no one seemed to care much about killing the target... I took care of the first one (with 10 seconds to spare), then I started going after the next one, no one else seemed interested, so I thought to my self, screw them, if they don't care for the objective, I am not going to do all the work, and I let the timer run, then one of the guys missiles the target at the last second, same with the other 2 targets... I was a juggernaut for this game, so most of my time will be eaten up just getting to the target, seriously, people are stupid

2) The player review system is BS and pointless. It is very biased, people are more likely to leave a bad review than a good review, thats human nature. The only time I use it myself is to avoid those annoying players that dont shut up, so that I don't see them again, I have no idea if it actually works honestly, because I have never played with the same random person twice...

3) Considering your team kept enemies busy, you might as well have just camped the hack site the whole time, its easy money in that regard. I usually tell my team to do similar if in that scenario.
