AIU Gold/Plat build?

#1ExarOsPosted 3/15/2013 11:23:08 AM
Hey all,

I have been running a few classes through Gold and Plat recently and decided to give the AIU a try since I got my Claymore upgraded to VI. I have seen some builds posted but they are the pre-nerf builds. The more popular one I have seen is a 6/6/6/6/0 build.

Any AIU pro's out there want to post a build for me to try? I would imagine Snap Freeze and the use one power before stealth breaks is a must?

Thanks in advance.

You pretty much NEED the Shotgun Damage evolution for Cloak. The damage boost lasts for a second or so after you break cloak, so you can get a shot or two off.

Here's my build: http://narida.pytalhost.com/me3/classes/#Infiltrator/AllianceInfiltrationUnit/PMOLA/ReegarCarbine6AM5AL5////ShockTrooperUpgrade5/

You can spec Repair Matrix anyway you want, TBH. Every evolution is pretty good.

I'll have to look at the when I get home. My work PC will not pull that site up for some reason. I see in the link it lists the Reegar Carbine. I only have a Reegar Carbine I at the moment (No luck getting it upgraded). Would a Claymore VI or Reegar Carbine I be better for now?

Prolly a Claymore. Any good shotgun can work well, but the Reegar lets you annihilate shields, while your Snap Freeze debuffs armor.

Basically this. Snap Freeze debuff makes reegar work ALMOST normally against armor, Shredder/ High Velocity barrel helps even more. Even banshees/atlas/primes turn to liquid cheese...

Really, any shotgun that has a quick/high damage output is fine as long as your cooldown remains ABOVE 0%
- Claymore
- Reegar
- Piranha
- AT-12 Raider
---> Top 4 weapons (not in any particular order)

Optionally, the Wraith is a good practical weapon thats lightweight and reasonably high damage, but its ultra rare, so not common at all.

You skipped both weapon passives. What.

Here's the build: http://narida.pytalhost.com/me3/classes/#Infiltrator/AllianceInfiltrationUnit/PRQNA/Wraith10BH5AP5////ShockTrooperUpgrade5/

The Geth Infiltrator does every "rapid fire" shotgun better than the AIU and the Human Infiltrator does the Reegar better thanks to Sticky Grenades, so you're best off with the Wraith or Claymore, though of course there's nothing stopping you from using whatever you damn well please.

Wouldn't taking the 1 free power to debuff with Snap Freeze and then unloading the shotgun lead to more damage overall, or am I missing something?

Tactical Cloak damage buff persists for 2,5 seconds after the cloak ends IIRC.
