The problem with restraining speech is, who gets to set the rules? If it's only okay in a certain time or place, who gets to say what time and what place?

As soon as I unlock the damn thing, I'll know what to answer for certain... But, from what I've seen, Speed Decrease is it's biggest flaw. Hurts this gun from being really useful on anything but the Juggernaut. Hilarious to have on a Destroyer, though.
Oh, and lol at "Weight" being on there twice.

I am disappoint.

Whoops

Fictional excuse: I ran out of ideas, as it has good ammo, no recoil, and overwhelming magazine size

No worries. I thought you were half-serious at first, since it's tied for heaviest gun in the game (Javelin being the other), and making two jokes in one poll. :P

Character movement speed. Otherwise it's a good gun.

Waiting for FFXIIIvs, KH III.

The gun has no ramp up damage modifier. It just takes about a second to get to full RoF.

Anyway, the worst thing is the movement speed. It really limits your choices when using the gun.

Although I love this gun, its main flaw is definitely the speed decrease. I couldn't resist picking the Die Hard reference, though.

The mobility is not what is WRONG with the gun, that is a perfectly understandable balancing factor.

What is WRONG with the gun, and is holding it back, is the damage.

I realized I didn't know what ramp-up damage actually implied, and made the wrong guess. What bothers me about the Spitfire is not ramp-up damage, just the fact that it ought to hurt more, to better distinguish it from the Typhoon and to justify the severe mobility loss.

Also, the wind up is totally a factor. Anybody without huge stagger resistance is going to find the gun having to wind up constantly because they're always being interrupted by stagger. When you get staggered, the gun's damage goes to hell. The wind up doesn't seem big but one second is actually a pretty big deal. Especially when you need to experience it multiple times due to stagger.

It either needs faster wind up, higher base damage, or to grant extra stagger resistance.

Is there something about the way I type that makes it sound angry? Maybe it's just something about the way you read.

People used it as both in the Typhoon poll, so I was pretty much whatever on that issue
