Best weapon for removing shields / barriers?

I'm a Vorcha who likes going around burning everything. Enemies with shields / barriers are my only weakness.

What weapon(s) would you say is best for removing shields?

I'm currently using a Reegar Carbine / Acolyte.

Are these the best weapons for getting rid of shields / barriers? I'm not sure which is better although I love the Reegar Carbine

The Reegar and Acolyte are easily the best weapons for stripping shields/barriers. The Adas is also pretty good from a distance, and you get pretty good stagger too.

The Talon also has a multiplier against shields and barriers, if I'm correct.

Acolyte is best for removing shields but terrible with health damage

Reegar is great at removing shields but okay with health damage

Talon is good at removing shields and great at health damage

Generally, the Reegar is better against boss enemies because you don't have to charge it between shots, but the Acolyte is better against normal enemies since it takes their shields out in one hit.

I'd recommend the Acolyte, that's what I use on my Vorcha Soldier

Have you seen my sisters? Last I saw them they were standing in a row. They are quite lovely.

^Acolyte and Talon also have access to the Power Amp attachment.

Hmm. I will give the Acolyte another go. I think it will work great against Phantoms.

I would love the weapon if it wasn't for the annoying charge ups.

You can hold the button down to charge while using Flamer

With the Acolyte, bounce the bullets off the floor when you aim.
Gives a larger aoe and is great against groups.
