I am firmly of the opinion that ME4 MP should be co-op only. I LOVE ME3 BECAUSE IT IS CO-OP.
If you try to fail and succeed, what happened?
If a turtle has no shell is it naked or homeless?

No. Achieving balance would be near impossible. The only way competitive would work would be if they removed all powers from that game mode, and then it just wouldn't feel like Mass Effect.

No. There is now way you can get it to work with biotic powers etc... and have it balanced.

they have to give the players ~sub-boss amounts of armor to prevent some things like stasis from being OP. even then stuff like dark channel would be a death sentence.

or do like I mentioned before and have a mode where one side spawns as the enemy faction. dunno if that'd work...

A co-op and vs mode would be great. Vs left for dead style would be amazing.
