what's with people and needing equipment? when platinum first came out I never used equipment and did just fine

And you are probably in the top 1000 ME3 in the world.

Also you have equipment so you might as well use it, especially on the higher difficulties.

I agree with Golden. I'll use equipment on platinum and always use gear but I never use mods, etc on gold or below. I rely on powers first and weapons second, and I don't have problems (I'm far from the greatest too). Plus it's a waste to use the equipment if you don't make it through at least wave 6 and that's far more likely when playing with random people.

I seem to recall carrying TimeShinigami in quite a few matches. Not to mention you can't count being at the top of the board when you use all your missiles on spawns every single round.

More like bronze IMHO.

I usually just quit the lobby if someone obviously underleveled enters a silver+ game and isn't kicked. If I join into a game and someone dying every 10 seconds with a Predator or hiding behind a wall I also quit. Leechers can go screw themselves.

You quit silver matches? Why? Anyone that has been playing since launch or for a while can solo a silver match with a level 1 character anyway, so why not let the scrubs make it go a little faster?

Silver+, as in silver and above.

It's the sheer audacity of the leechers that bothers me. I have no interest doing a solo game if other guys does nothing but getting free xp and credits. The "new" leechers stand behind a wall, then comes back to switch position a few inches every other minute to avoid getting kicked but does nothing otherwise. If they are low leveled I take a look at their loadout before deciding what to do.

Like a week ago I saw a level 5 soldier join an U/U/Silver, N7 rank 10-20 something. I thought, "ok...", then I checked the loadout and he had a Predator II, nothing else. While I usually play along on silver if the person is at least trying, this actually made me angry. Since I was the only one with a N7 rank above 200 and the others tried to start the game anyway all I could do was exit.

I'd rather take my chances, and my share of money. Besides, if you are as good as you think you are, we'll do just fine.

Any chance they were going for challenge points? Did you ask?
If I have a Juggernaut on silver I don't care if the other 3 leach, more baddies for me to kill.

I am not good enough with Infiltrators to carry myself, let alone anyone else!

Did I spell something wrong? Please, feel obliged to point it out in the most insulting, patronising, pointless way possible. I will do my best to ignore you.

In almost all cases yes you will. But sometimes the game has a way of screwing you over.

Nothing says "**** you!" like getting an escort mission that leads you into open ground INTO all the spawning enemies on wave 10. Of course I can't remember the time I failed one of those... it's just frustrating when you're moving at a crawl and your TM's are leeching or just dropping every other second all over the map.

I understand though isn't it more fun to troll the leechers at this point? On silver I kite enemies to them and make sure they have to either play or die. If they die in place I will constantly revive them to make sure they are kicked.

Same on gold and platinum without the kite need.
