To me, borderlands was a type of franchise that if I wasn't going through the campaign with my friends it wasn't worth playing at all. I went through the whole game with the same three guys with different characters from other states/countries. We even scheduled a time every day when we did so, and when one player had to leave, we all left. Most fun I had playing co op in years. But we beat it a few times an moved on. Because I liked playing with different shepards and the multiplayer I don't see myself slowing down anytime soon. Hell I still play left 4 dead 2 with friends/randoms every now an then.
