Holster weapon?

Hi, I did some searching and apart from PC mods, it looks like there is no way to holster your weapon.

I'm just curious since it has been a while since those posts if there has been any update on this or anything? Anything in a patch? One of the DLC's? Anything? It's really bugging me and ruining the immersion.

So, ANYTHING? thanks.

I think you could do it in ME2 (with the back button) but not 3. I found it weirdest on Omega, where you're walking around the rebel camp sticking your gun in people's faces as you talk to them.

I really miss shooting everything and everywhere as in ME1. I remember going around the citadel throwing grenades and trying to use sabotage and stasis on the keepers or drawing penises in the citadel's walls with my assault rifle.

Hold A, let it go and press it again.

I used to shoot anybody and everybody, it had to be with a sweep of the camera while using an automatic weapon, but it was interesting to see how nobody would die... I wonder how those people did after the Reaper Invasion...

Bioware made a brief statement about it prior to release.

They didn't put in weapon holstering as a means of freeing up more memory for the game.

Memory? What crap, they already have the animation...

But oh well I guess. Thanks for the reply.

*sigh*

I kinda wish the community would've made them go back and change that, obviously too late now.

Doesn't matter. Compared to the myriad of other issues ME3 had, like for instance the horrid original endings, holstering weapons is inconsequential...

Don't bring that crap up in other topics.

Anyway, I like that Shepard enrolled in Piccolo's School of Dodging, but forgot how to put his weapon away.

What? That the original endings were utter tripe and that Bioware's "artistic integrity" bollocks just served to showcase how they'd lost it as a developer?

Exactly that. Many good topics were lost to the Ending Derailing of 2012.
