^ lol more like 6 members, "but pay us 10 more bucks in addition to the full retail $60 to get Javik!! Cuz we love MONAAAAAY"

I pray ME4 does not do this **** again to screw over consumers who don't get the CE for $20 more. I will be upset.

I mean if they can think up a reason for Wrex to be on the Citadel at the time, they could do it for Miranda or Jack

In Miranda's case; I suppose the "fan boy sheep" response could be that she spends the majority of ME3 on the run from Cerberus, so hanging out with Shep would only make her even more of a target.

Except that "fanboy sheep" answer does make sense. And if that response is a fanboy sheep one, i guess yours would be a "hater troll" one then?

Squad mates were a big news story when this game was released. Bioware said they had planned for an entirely new squad, with no previous squad mates returning. They all would have been like Wrex, having a side appearance, but Garrus would have stayed on Palaven and Tali would have stayed with the quarians. I don't know if it was EA insisting on catering to the fans, but Bioware said it was rather last minute that Tali and Garrus were added to the squad, but they would have preferred not to bring them back at all, it was pure fan service.

Robin Sachs (Zaeed) passed away after the Citadel DLC and a patch added a posthumous dedication to the game credits.

Not having the me2 cast as squadmates was just pathetic plain and simple, no way around it. They should have had them be temporary squadmates during their respective story arcs and not just appear in cutscenes.

Ashley, Garrus and Tali were confirmed at least as early as the Game Informer cover story in 2011. So I'm confused by your statement.

I also like the idea of having permanent squad members that can be used on every mission, and temporary squad members that are only usable on certain missions.

I think he's referring to ME2. Going by what he's saying, Tali and Garrus were not originally supposed to be in ME2, but were put in near the end of development due to popular demand.

Of course, if he's referring to ME3, then I have no idea what he's talking about, as you're correct in that Ashley, Garrus, and Tali were confirmed as being in ME3 very early on.
