They literally took a stock photo and spent 5 minutes photoshopping it.

For shame, Bioware, for shame.

Great... you found a picture that looks like the one in game. Good for you.

Hey. Does she seriously show her face?

Even if it is the same picture they edited for the game... so what? That's precisely what that site is for. They're called stock photos for a reason. Cheaper than hiring a model to use the image of.

Not "looks" like. Compare it to the one in game and you'll see its literally the same photo.

It shows laziness and lack of regard for their fanbase.

No it doesn't. It's no different than if they hired a model to base the image off. But using a stock photo was cheaper.

...Why?

This is the most ridiculous debate ever. Why would it be any different then bioware having that woman come into the studio and take a picture? So suddenly because this woman had appeared in a stock image she is no longer suitable to be a video game character?

I don't understand this at all. If anything it allowed bioware to save money and use that money on other more important things.

Because, we've been waiting since Mass Effect 1 to see what the Quarians and Tali look like. The fact that Bioware didn't put any real effort into making this species by simply photoshopping a stock image is insulting.
