Bioware got really lazy with Tali's face (spoilers)

Wow...just wow. I mean, Tali is hot, I guess that's cool, but I'm literally speechless at the sheer laziness that went into her design. I mean, the picture is fine, don't get me wrong. I just expected more. I mean look at the hand, it's not even a decent photoshop. Tali is absolutely adored by a large part of the playerbase and this is all you could come up with to fulfill their hopes of finally seeing her face? I'm getting more angry as I type this and I was fine in the beginning. I just can't believe that this is all they could come up with. I mean why not just take a picture of Liz Sroika and give it to us? Would've taken just as much effort.

Yeah, use a picture for inspiration for the face. That's fine.

But at least draw the thing out yourselves and do it right! Having a half-assed photoshop job is just insulting.

Oh no, I'm taking my game back RIGHT NOW. This is uncalled for, they should have spent the past four months working on her perfect complexion alone. Oh no. Oh... no....

I can see this as an inside joke for Bioware gone horribly wrong.

Bioware employee 1: "hey let's grab some random picture and put it as the face for Tali and see people fall in love with her" *snickers*

Bioware employee 2: "I don't know...They might get mad."

Bioware employee 1: "Psh they'll never know and we can always patch it later and say it was a mix up"

In any case, I think unless you romance Tali you would have never seen this so I don't really care. I rather them put efforts elsewhere than designing a picture you see for a second. Yeah, it's lazy of them but if the sacrifice supposedly made something else better I guess that's a win in my book since I'm not pursuing that story line nor care about her face.

This thread is pointless. People would have been disappointed and angry no matter what Tali looked like because most die hard fans of her had their preconceived fan art of her already posted on deviantart.

This is why Bioware was right not to show her face in ME2 and why they are wrong to give her a defined face in ME3. The fact of not knowing exactly what she looked like gave her more fans than mostly any other LI in the game (or possibly any game whatsoever)...

This is actually great for anti-talimancers whom are likely caught in a state of constant laughter since the release of that information.

There's a difference between "being disapointed because its not what you wanted" and an absolute travesty, a joke, an absolute lack of freakin' standards for a now horrible company that attached itself to EA for money, and you'd think, AT THE VERY LEAST, they would not be so pathetically cheap on something people care about.

This is sad beyond belief. To me, its just one more proof out of a thousand why Bioware does not even exist anymore, and everyone working at Bioware or EA deserves to get shot. The pretention that their games is art is sickening to the humanity.

Wrong.

Plus you can see the white eyes and human-like nose through the visor.

No, he's right: in the games nobody says what quarians look like. There is, between the two games, one person who says they're old enough to remember what they look like under the suits, but she's not telling.

And I'm not impressed with your observation of their eyes: pretty much every race has eyes that would look human-like through that visor. About the only thing we can say is that, like turians, salarians, volus, drell, vorcha, and asari, the quarian eyes are spaced like a human's. There's only one race in that list you'd accuse of looking like a human, and even they look far more alien than that Tali picture.

As I said before, ascension talks about it and some codex makes comments on it.

The picture itself is impossible: She would have died if she took off her suit.
And she was born after the Geth took her planet, so it's completely impossible.
Bioware doesn't even know it's own storyline anymore.

Man, this is the epitome of lazyness... I've seen better fanart of Tali's face around the net, not some lame and half-assed photoshop at least, like that ending picture.

Doesn't she take a rare pill in ME2 that lets her take her outfit off to screw Shepard?
