I like the idea of the synthesis ending as a stand-alone concept, but not as an ending to Mass Effect. Sorry, not going to fuse all life with the dip**** kid who let Harbinger fling insults at me through the entire second game. --- We are men of action. Lies do not become us. The cheese of life is what turns the hamburger of life into the cheeseburger of life.
I love the transhumanism theme too but ME just didn't explore it (hell the only mention of it is when Shepard seems horrified at the suggestion that she was non-fully human post-revival) so letting Shepard choose it came out of nowhere and didn't seem to fit that well with existing characterisation.
What annoys me is the ending could have been good had it been foreshadowed better and had there been a bit more discussion rather than Shep unquestioningly going with one of the blue brat's suggestions. --- "An RTFM error has occurred. Please try again later" - Me
The ending was a work if art. Are you saying Im not allowed to like it???
