Getting my location found often ( happens a lot ) & resorting to quickscoping like a mad man after it happens( I tend to die continuously ), or just using specialist / Any tips, set ups, or recommendation to a youtube channel would help, thanks.

It makes it harder to get OSKs, but put a silencer on the Barrett or AS50. It helps a lot more with staying hidden than you would think. I've had guys run right by me while I was shooting at someone else and they didn't even notice me at all (and I really wasn't that hidden in most of the cases either).

Also, move after every kill or 2, since that guy will almost surely flank you and put a stop to your sniping from that spot (or he'll whip out his sniper and headshot you). btw, if you go with that tactic, pick up an enemy weapon if you get the chance, well as long as it isn't something useless like a silenced UMP, since a MP9 is better than that PoS. Having an AR, LMG or SMG is better than running around with your sniper out (especially if silenced).

If you don't want to go down the Silencer route, just be smart about how you snipe.

A good sniper is a moving one. Get to know all the maps and the different sniping positions you can take. Find some good cover with good sight lines and wait for a target. After one or two kills, move to another spot and repeat. Take into account where your team is spawning (in turn, where the other team might pop up) and factor that in to where you want to move.

^this. use ext conditioning it helps. its not like you really need SOH just just ext mags and reload only when you really have to. trust me ext conditioning is the way to go. if you have to escape from multiple enemies bam you can out run them plus you can jump through windows and stuff faster so you will definitely out run them.
