I spent a bit of time on the phone with amazon this morning, mainly for a defective onza, and also to let them know release date delivery hasn't been added yet for the hardened edition and the rep got the ball rolling pretty fast. --- "I'm a love machine and I'm ready to plow the fields of exstasy. oh yeah!"-Fable-TLC
Seems like every major release you got to talk the posters on Amazon's forums down from the ledge concerning release date delivery. On gfaqs we get the whole "mine hasn't shipped yet," then the next day "OMG OMG it's not here yet.. will it come today?!" --- Fry: "Are you crazy? I can't swallow that. Prof Farnsworth: "Well, then good news! It's a suppository."
It's cool they actually listened. Some people don't always get lucky when talking to Amazon's CS. Seems that they tend to favor the regular edition of games more often now than premium editions. --- I ask a lot of questions. Just to let 'ya know.
np :). I've had the release date anxiety before but 99.9% of the time the game arrives on release date just like advertised. Only one time did a game arrive the day after and that was because it was never shipped in the first place. I love amazon overall though, always pretty painless to deal with.
Ya i was surprised at how fast she got it added, figured it would take a couple days. They did forget to add a product description/contents though, but i was more concerned with the shipping. --- "I'm a love machine and I'm ready to plow the fields of exstasy. oh yeah!"-Fable-TLC
Thanks TC! I pre-ordered a few weeks ago and just assumed it would be release day delivery because the last two CODs were for me. After I read the post, I went in and had to change my shipping speed from 2 day delivery to release day delivery.
Slambo... that's why I have it sent to my job. Deliveries are in the morning so I don't have to stress. Then I can tell others they are overreacting, haha. --- Fry: "Are you crazy? I can't swallow that. Prof Farnsworth: "Well, then good news! It's a suppository."
