Finished my PAIN+ run this evening
>won't believe without evidence
As an unknown? Yes.
Not entirely necessary.
So you opted for the harder path? Ill-advised tactically speaking.
Exploiting the entrance barrier is basically required for PAIN+. For lack of AoS, things just become that much more annoying. Shinobier did well to come up with bane application strictly for armor removal of each Tyrant before regular damage until they were out of the way.
The troubles of some of the fights are manifold and frustrating.
The vets, dear boy.
This isn't Gears, boy-o.
Have at it. It's a good time. If tedium is what you so far, you'll have plenty in the GKPAIN+. With the PAIN+, you'll be more concerned with playing at the protector role.
>NUR+ prior to PAIN+
That would be advisable.
>no challenge runs
I bet you aren't even the sort of gent who can appreciate the SoD, EH and TB. If you wish to learn the games properly. you'll listen to your betters. Help me, help you.
What sort of evidence can I provide? I have a save file on my memory card right before Thanatos with no upgrades to anything, but that doesn't really prove that I got to that point under PAIN+ conditions. I don't know how a person gets those videos of themselves playing games on psp, and I'm not really keen on doing it again even if I could get a video of it. For the Geryon fight I did it so many times the whole experience eventually just became a blur. I don't remember if I specifically intended to fight 2 Geryons at once or if I accidentally killed the harpy and just ended up having to fight 2, either way the time I ended up getting it I had to fight 2 at once and I got through it so it's all good with me. Are your last 3 notes referring to me? If so I'm not sure what you're making reference to. I only play God of War games on the hardest difficulty. I know SoD means spear of destiny and I've honestly never played with it that much. TB I think means Thera's Bane and I know how it makes your attacks weaker and is only useful against enemies that require it or for the searing core if that's what you're referring to. I can't think of any item or magic from any God of War game that EH would stand for though. Thank you all for reading my message!
>still talking about videos
>no paragraph breaks
>intend 2x Geryon
I should hope not. That's just silly.
>last few notes
They're responses to 'infant', but you're free to weigh in.
All in good time.
No. We're talking GoWII.
Come now. No need for such an excitable showing.
I'm sorry I can't think of anything other than a video that would absolutely prove without a shadow of a doubt that I beat it under PAIN+ conditions. What would you have me do to prove that I've beaten it this way?
You're over-concerned in using such a term.
>have you do
Something delightful. Maybe cover the whole game concerning tactics? But then, I haven't finished with the run skeleton frame, so I'll dismiss this for the moment. Instead, have you prove yourself elsewhere maybe. You did intend for GoWII run work, yes?
yeah I am planning on starting a no upgrades run of god of war 2 soon. I might make a topic about it on that board. It's gonna be really hard though. I can think of more difficult parts in that one than any of the other games off the top of my head.
Also I meant to ask does GKPAIN+ mean God killer PAIN+ or something else altogether, and how is it different than PAIN+? Thanks for your help and for your time.
NUR or NUR+?
>on the board
Which one? If you're playing the Collection version, you may want to put it there. If the old PS2 is still in your possession, may as well be on the proper board. Either way, vets will take interest. It's a favored entry.
Easier than you might believe.
General Kratos. It's the PAIN+ with said attire (deal less damage, take more damage, superior collisions, pathetic orb worth/recovery, higher base HP/MP *the former is mostly an illusion and the latter is only true until one needs to recover it in terms of having more than usual* and a cosmetic matter.
You'll find it less forgiving in damage to you, super tedious to kill certain foes (when you don't have colllisions), a laugh riot with collisions, etc.
I want to know what dark magic you used to get past the Geryon/Harpy fight. The best I've been able to do is killing one Geryon.
It's an evil encounter. For starters, don't try that noise Shinobier went with later on. Stick to trying to control the fight enough to keep it to 1x Geryon. That's about all I can offer. GoS has some 'messy' encounters.
