Is this what there doing to mario party. there changing it so you play as mii's i would rather play as a character from the mario series then a stupid mii. why nintendo why. | |

Well, for those of us who DON'T hate ourselves, I think this is a great idea. I'd rather play as myself in the game than have to pick something like Dry Bones and Birdo...if they ever made Goomba a playable, maybe that, but other than that, I'd be much happier with my good ol' Mii. :) | |
I don't care about lack of Mario characters but the lack of the boardgames, coins, stars, makes me really skeptical of this game. Mario Party mini game are fun because there's a point. The winner gets money to use on the board for various stuff to help them win the game. I don't know about you but I have never just played mini-games in Mario Party. That's boring. I always play the main game, If it's just mini-games I don't think it's gonna keep my interest. | |

No. Neither the TC or I hate ourselves. Well they might, I don't know them very well. Either way, Miis are in not anyway unique. If you make a Mii that is based off of you the chances are there are going to be thousands upon thousands of Miis that look the same. There just simply too bland. Unless you count the ones where people greatly mess up the features so it looks like there is a penis on their face. Still gonna get the game, but it would have been a lot cooler if it had a Mario or Nintendo theme to it. --- Call me Trike. | |

I have nothing against this game, but I honestly think they should've made a Mario Party 9 instead. | |
I think dropping the Mario franchise was an alright idea, but it seems like the gameplay has taken a turn for the worst... which is bad because even the board game set-up of Mario Party wasn't at all great. I wish they could make a party game where the board game portion of it isn't a bunch of random crap totally out of your control. --- Never despair, but if you do, work on in despair.
