*perks head at the mention of Sonic going into water, using a drill to zip through quickly*

I commend the writer for recognizing that the whole "back to his roots" thing is getting old.

Tilting the nunchuck to make hairpin turns.

Bad controls for Wii version confirmed.

^Though if like Unleashed Wii it will likely support Gamecube controllers. -3-

Okay, so it doesn't sound "Bad". But it definitely sounds awkward. I'm not confident in allocating a quick turn mechanic by tilting the nunchuck. Is it sensitive enough? I hope for once the game doesn't throw bottomless pits up your grill should you screw up. Sega is supposedly making game easy and accessable for young audiences. Well, controls are what makes a game accessable.

Sonic Team doesn't exactly have a good track record when it comes dealing with smart, responsive Wii controls. That's what concerns me about the this game.

I'm glad the wisps serve as simple power-ups. Hopefully, this gimmick doesn't come off as completely superfluous; I want them to be fun, not just there for show. I'm probably going to enjoy the DS version since I already like the Rush series. Pretty skeptical about the Wii version though. It sounds fine, but I really need to see the gameplay in action before judging, especially considering this is the Sonic series.

Gotta agree with the writer...this seems like a really good Sonic game on paper and I am actually a little excited over it. Sounds like the gameplay is sticking to the roots for the most part, but with a simple gimmick that flows well with the game. A little new and a little old...sounds solid but lets see if it can pull it off.

Tilting the nunchuk to drift??

.....Bad idea. Keep it like it was in unleashed. That actually worked.

Also, PLZPLZPLZ let use gamecube controllers....The wiimote setup was alright, but the gamecube controller was much more precise.

Pretty soon there's going to be enough sand and boxes around to replicate bondai beach after a nearby warehouse explosion ~ Yatzee (on Sandbox games)
