Nintendo Zone areas? New streetpasses? New Mii Plaza?

So, what are the locations for the Nintendo Zone? I read somewhere Best Buy. But is Wal-Mart going to be a zone too? What about GameStop? I'm sure they might be a Nintendo Zone area. Any others?

Also, if you register a FC on your 3DS, does that mean you can get a new street pass? Or maybe I misunderstood the new concept of the new Mii Plaza interface.

Also, I HATE the fact that with the new puzzles you CAN'T get the purple/pink pieces. That's just plain stupid. That means I'll NEVER get those.... I had a really hard time just getting the other original puzzles to begin with. and I'm STILL trying to get the whole frame for the Zelda puzzle. As if it's already challenging, Nintendo had to make it even more difficult on me. :-/

Though I admit the new system update does have improvements, but some of the new features of the mii plaza were just kind of disappointing. :-\

The pink pieces will come via spotpass. As long as you pass through some wifi spots, you'll get them over time.

whether or not all those 25,000 locations support Nintendo Zone.. I don't know. Best Buy definitely does.

Whoa! N64Mario! Cool to see you here. Yeah, definitely give the new features some time and see which SpotPass features you'll be able to advantage of without going out of your way. I'm pretty happy with the update, except perhaps the severe limitations of the "Join Game" friends list feature. I saw a familiar face from the WWDIY board playing Mario Kart 7 and I couldn't invite or interact with her while I, too, was playing Mario Kart 7. T~T
