Nintendo 3DS

Motion controls and an analogue stick, along with the touch screen we already had. The potential here seems almost staggering. How much use of these features do you think we'll see?

The only problem I see is that with motion controls, it might interfere with the 3D screen, and if 3D is what's being pushed then I fear the motion controls might go underutilized. Games like Wario Ware Twisted and Kirby's Tilt 'n' Tumble were great for what they were, so being able to implement ideas from them would do the system well.

its got motion detection AND a gyroscope. that covers the full range of movement from the device.

it will know when you are holding it the right way up for certain games. (ninja gaiden required you to hold the device on its side - but it only said to do it. now it would be able to detect if its done or not.... very small example)

i think the posibilities are greater in this little machine than any other machine on the market. the new iphone 4 would be the closest thing but it hasnt got 3d and is priced at 2-3 times more.
