if u dont like the 3d, u cant turn it off.

You guys are overlooking the obvious.

The 3D Function of the handheld is fully adjustable via the hardware slider present on the right side of the unit. If the aspect ratio is not well suited to your liking, you simply decrease the effect with the slider and the unit is just as viewable as your current DSi. Nintendo themselves confirmed this. They said that 3D would be optional for every game.

And you're overlooking what people playing the systems now are saying. When they turn off the 3D effect, the games look flat (obviously) and washed out. Makes sense since alot of the 3D effect is caused by bright coloring etc.
