Will 3DS games work on regular DS?

There hasn't been any type of announcement on backwards/forwards compatibility between the 3DS and the DS. One would assume that no, you will not be able to play 3DS games on your DS, but only time will tell.

As with the Gameboy Advance and DS.

It's Nintendos NEW Handheld.

The next generation of gaming has technically started, But like with the DS, I don't see new systems out til several years later.
